Job summary

Slate is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Planner – CMMS in Warsaw, IN, to oversee planning, scheduling, and documentation of maintenance work within the CMMS. You will coordinate resources, support PM programs, and drive asset reliability and safe operations.

The role requires five years of related experience, CMMS proficiency, and strong communication skills to collaborate with engineers, vendors, and operations leadership. Office-based with periodic onsite collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field with minimum five years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of CMMS platforms and maintenance workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance work orders in the CMMS for facilities and building systems.
• Coordinate labor, materials, tools, and external resources for maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with maintenance supervisors, technicians, and facilities leadership to align schedules.
• Develop, review, and optimize preventive maintenance plans based on manufacturer recommendations and regulations.
• Prepare maintenance metrics and reports, analyze data for trends and improvements.
• Support safety, compliance, audits, and cross-functional collaboration.
