Job summary

PPG's manufacturing facility in Circleville, Ohio is seeking a CMMS Administrator to manage conversion, upgrade, and performance reporting within the onsite CMMS system. You will report to the Maintenance and Reliability organization at Circleville, a critical part of PPG's global coatings operations.

Qualifications

  • High School degree or GED required; a 2-year degree preferred with equivalent work experience in manufacturing or industrial environment OR a BS in engineering or manufacturing technology-related discipline
  • 3+ years of CMMS experience
  • Knowledge of Reliability Engineering (RCM, FMEA)
  • Experience configuring and supporting CMMS workflows, fields, status codes, security roles, user permissions, notifications, and approval processes
  • Developing and maintaining asset records, job plans, preventive maintenance records, bill of materials, and spare-parts associations
  • Experience developing CMMS reports, dashboards, queries, and data extracts

Responsibilities

  • Work with site Maintenance and Reliability teams to integrate Preventive Maintenance requirements into the CMMS system
  • Develop and own reporting metrics and analytics that validate maintenance effectiveness and equipment uptime
  • Modernize asset hierarchy within the CMMS system
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and use continuous improvement activities to increase CMMS robustness
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical systems
  • Complete field surveys to confirm equipment presence, physical condition, and asset identification
  • Update preventative maintenance documentation to align with PID and field locations
  • Support CMMS configuration, testing, and user training

Job description

As the site Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Administrator, you will manage the conversion, upgrade, and performance reporting from within the onsite CMMS system. This position is located within PPG's manufacturing facility located in Circleville, Ohio, and reports through the Maintenance and Reliability organization. The Circleville, OH facility is an integral part of PPG's global paint and coatings manufacturing structure, providing technically advanced coatings to PPG's global customers.
