Job summary

Fathom Robotics is seeking a part-time CMMC Compliance & IT Support Specialist in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on implementing NIST SP 800-171 controls, owning the SSP/POA&M, and coordinating evidence for assessments while providing hands-on IT assistance to the team.

The position requires US person status, SECRET eligibility, and about 20 hours per week, with on-site work for hands-on tasks and some remote coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cybersecurity compliance or IT security experience.
• Experience implementing NIST SP 800-171 or CMMC requirements.
• Experience writing and maintaining SSP and POA&M.
• US person status and eligibility to obtain SECRET clearance.
• Knowledge of Windows endpoints, M365 administration, and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead CMMC & cybersecurity compliance efforts, including SSP/POA&M ownership.
• Maintain evidence for controls and prepare for third-party assessments (C3PAO).
• Conduct self-assessments, track gaps, and support SPRS score.
• Provide IT help desk support for hardware, software, network, and accounts.
