Job summary

Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals Company in Indiana is seeking a CMM Quality Technician to inspect tungsten product from raw powder to final, support the Quality team, and provide feedback on results to production CNC operators. You will perform CMM inspections and ensure final items meet specifications.

Responsibilities include communicating CMM results to production, completing final inspections, and following MTTM procedures. Experience with GD&T and blueprint reading is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related experience in a manufacturing or inspection environment.
• Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading - Preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience inspecting product or working in a material lab - Preferred.
• Experience operating a CMM.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation and communication of CMM results to production.
• Final inspections on the CMM.
• Follow relevant MTTM procedures and the MTTM Quality Policy.
• Complete non-CMM in-process and final inspections.
• Perform tensile testing of powder metallurgy specimen.
• Characterize tungsten powder and input results into a database.
• Stamp, label, and wrap product to customer requirements.
