Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer/Inspector to ensure dimensional accuracy of machined components. You will program and operate CMMs, verify geometry against drawings, and complete first article inspections in accordance with AS9102.

Responsibilities include documenting results, communicating discrepancies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. On-site role with full-time hours in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CMM experience, including programming and inspection.
• Proficiency with PC-DMIS and CATIA software.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and dimensional requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate inspection findings clearly and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to inspect machined components.
• Verify part geometry and dimensions against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure inspection documentation and design controls are accurate.
• Complete first article inspection reports in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
• Document inspection results and communicate discrepancies to the appropriate teams.
• Work with production, engineering, and quality personnel to resolve inspection issues.
