Job summary

Flex-n-Gate in Grand Prairie, TX seeks a Quality CMM Operator to develop inspection programs for coordinate measuring machines and ensure the accuracy of scripts and tests. The role includes gauge control, calibration, and maintaining CMM fixtures.

Responsibilities cover supporting reverse engineering, PPAP involvement on new products, R&R and capability studies, and effective communication with project engineers and customers to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ work experience in related field with CMM programming and Polyworks scanning preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and drawing interpretation.
• Proficiency with database applications and MS Office.
• Detail oriented, excellent communication, and ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Summary

The Quality CMM Operators role is to create inspection programs for coordinate measuring machines and to ensure the machine is properly working throughout programming scripts and tests. The incumbent is responsible for Gauge control and Gauge calibration.

Job Duties

• Responsible for assisting Project Engineers with reverse engineering, production support and development of inspection plans.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years’ work experience in related field with CMM programming and Polyworks scanning preferred.
• Extensive mathematical knowledge
• Knowledge of basic computer hardware and applications software.
• Detailed working knowledge of GD&T and drawing interpretation required
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
