CMM Programmer/Quality Control Inspector V

Overview

The CMM Programmer/Quality Control Inspector V works with production personnel to ensure the production and shipment of quality products. This involves inspecting parts during in-process production, communicating errors, and recording test data. The inspector supports mechanical/dimensional and visual inspection of finished goods and supplier parts with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

1. Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
2. Create new CMM inspection programs using CAD and/or blueprints with PCDMIS software.
3. Execute existing CMM programs and analyze/report results.
4. Develop work instructions for CMM operators.
5. Generate measurement reports for internal and external customers.
6. Inspect parts during production, communicate errors and trends.
7. Identify nonconforming products and generate DMRs.
8. Review/audit documentation: CoC, CoA, FAIR.
9. Coordinate with Material Review Board, Planning, Purchasing, or Quality Engineering to resolve issues.
10. Review COCs, Purchase Orders, and Test documents for accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• High School Diploma or GED; applicable experience may substitute for a degree.

Additional Information

• This position requires access to controlled technology, materials, software, or hardware under ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. Employment is contingent upon obtaining necessary U.S. Government export licenses.
• Pay Range: $32.91 - $40.00 hourly, varies based on location, education, and experience.
