Job summary

Tata Technologies in North Berwick, ME is seeking a CMM Programmer with 3+ years of experience to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize CMM/Gauge inspection programs for machined components ranging from moderate to high complexity.

You will work with quality and manufacturing teams, interpret drawings and GD&T, and contribute to process improvements, fixture tooling, and training of new programmers.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of experience in CMM programming.
• Experience with Calypso, PC-DMIS and Modus; Calypso specialty preferred.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14).
• Experience working with machined components in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Experience training or mentoring other programmers or inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify CMM/Gauge inspection programs using 3D CAD models and drawings.
• Perform prove-outs, GRR studies, and correlation analyses to validate inspection programs.
• Analyze inspection data including SPC to support process improvements.
• Provide mechanical inspection support and verification for machined components.
• Troubleshoot CMM programs, inspection equipment, and related issues.
• Assist with fixturing and tooling solutions for inspection processes.
• Generate and maintain inspection reports and documentation.
• Communicate inspection results and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and establish best practices.
