Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in New Hampshire seeks a CMM Programmer I to develop and troubleshoot CMM/Gauge inspection programs for simple to medium complexity parts, using 3D CAD models and drawings.

You will work with CMM/CNC programmers and inspectors in a fast-paced team to deliver precise quality data. Required: 3 years as a CMM Programmer with automated inspection software; BS/AS in Mechanical/Manufacturing or Quality preferred; ASME Y14.5M certificate; knowledge of Calypso, PCDMIS, Modus or ATOS;

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum as a CMM Programmer using automated inspection software.
• Engineering drawing standards certificate (ASME Y14.5M) required.
• Course certification in Calypso, PCDMIS, Modus, ATOS, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify CMM/Gauge inspection plans using 3D CAD models and drawings for simple to medium complexity components.
• Design operator prompts to improve machine interface.
• Prove-out inspection plans for navigational and computational errors; perform GRR analyses.
• Provide CMM verification for medium to high complexity machined parts with available equipment.
• Communicate results with graphical views and SPC data to support process improvements.
