Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in Exeter, NH is seeking a CMM Programmer I to develop and troubleshoot inspection programs for simple to medium complexity components. You will work with CMM/CNC programmers and inspectors in a fast-paced team environment to provide technical support on assigned projects.

The role requires 3+ years of CMM programming experience using automated inspection software, with training in Calypso, PCDMIS, Modus or ATOS. On-site position with full-time hours and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a CMM programmer using automated inspection software.
• Certification in Calypso, PCDMIS, Modus, ATOS or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office and GitKraken.
• Strong verbal and written communication; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify CMM/Gauge plans using CAD models for simple to medium parts.
• Design custom prompts for machine operator interface.
• Prove-out and validate CMM plans and perform GRR checks.
• Support mechanical inspection and CMM verification of complex parts.
• Communicate results with graphical views and SPC data.
• Maintain CMM/Gauge stylus systems and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Assess fixturing needs for medium to complex components.
• Generate CMM/Gauge reports, GRR and correlation documents.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects; follow ISO processes.
