Job summary

Advance CNC Machining in Grove City, Ohio is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to own quality and drive precise measurement results. You will develop and optimize CMM programs using ZEISS Calypso for Contura CMMs, interpret results, and collaborate with Quality and Production to ensure parts are measured correctly the first time.

The role offers up to $90,000 DOE with a sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and a strong emphasis on accuracy and ownership of measurements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Calypso programming experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Thorough understanding of dimensional metrology principles and applications
• Competitive programming times
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• CMM inspection experience with curve forms, MMC and GD&T (preferred)
• Familiarity with machining, especially 4- and 5-axis milling (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize high-quality CMM programs using ZEISS Calypso software for Contura CMMs
• Proof CMM programs and adjust as needed
• Prepare inspection planning, including ballooning drawings
• Interpret CMM reports, measurement results and part specs
• Support troubleshooting and validation to achieve qualifications quickly
• Collaborate with Quality and Production to ensure first-time right parts
• Provide insights to improve accuracy, repeatability and efficiency
