Job summary

QA1is seeking a CMM Programmer to join our Lakeville, MN team. You will program Hexagon CMM and OGP Vision-System equipment, design and print 3D fixtures, perform gage calibration, and document inspection results to ensure product quality.

This role requires five years of related experience, CMM programming in PCDMIS and Zone 3 for OGP, Solid Works proficiency, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to interpret drawings. Mon-Fri 8am-4pm with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training preferred.
• Five years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience must include CMM programming and work holding design.
• Experience in programming in PCDMIS for CMM.
• Experience in programming in Zone 3 for OGP Smart Scope Vision System.
• Working knowledge of Solid Works.
• Ability to design and generate 3D printed fixtures.
• Working knowledge of GD&T concepts.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and prints.

Responsibilities

• Development fixture/work holding for CMM components and Smart Scope.
• Assist the Quality Engineer with verification of inspection results.
• Document inspection results and complete required quality reports accurately and timely.
• Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to identify defects or deviations.
• Inspect purchased and manufactured products as assigned.
• Verify manufactured components and assemblies for compliance with engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, prints, and work instructions accurately.
• Use precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
• Train others on the proper use of inspection tools and equipment, as needed.
