Job summary

Multisource Mfg is seeking a CMM Programmer in Ramsey, MN to develop and optimize CMM programs ensuring precise measurement and quality control of manufactured components. You will translate GD&T and engineering drawings into accurate inspection routines and collaborate with QA and production teams to reduce scrap and improve process efficiency.

The role requires prior CMM programming experience, familiarity with PC-DMIS or Calypso, and strong GD&T knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher in Manufacturing Technology, Metrology, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) in a manufacturing environment; Zeiss experience highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles and engineering drawings; Zeiss familiarity.
• Familiarity with CMM programming software such as PC-DMIS or Calypso; Calypso experience highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints accurately.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain CMM programs using industry-standard software to measure complex parts accurately.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create detailed inspection routines that comply with GD&T standards.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to troubleshoot measurement issues and optimize inspection processes.
• Perform routine calibration and maintenance checks on CMM equipment to ensure consistent performance and reliability.
• Analyze measurement data and generate comprehensive reports to support quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.
