Job summary

Dauch Corporation is a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier serving the global automotive industry. This on-site Technician - CMM role requires programming CMMs using PC-DMIS or Zeiss Calypso, interpreting complex drawings, and ensuring inspections meet engineering standards in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have strong GD&T knowledge, experience with multiple projects, and availability for overtime, including weekends.

Qualifications

CMM programming with PC-DMIS and/or Zeiss Calipso software and inspection layout.
Overtime availability if required (weekends included).
Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to manage multiple projects with dynamic priorities.
Minimum 5 years experience in automotive, aerospace or prototype manufacturing operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Utilize CMM equipment to measure/layout complex components to engineering specs.
Write CMM programs and program CMM using CAD models or blueprints.
Interpret blueprints and specifications accurately.
Perform and certify inspections and tests per technical docs.
Maintain inspection documentation (written, electronic, photo).
Communicate effectively with management, engineering, suppliers, and customers.
Identify root causes of machining/assembly issues and propose solutions.
Meet aggressive schedules and complete measurements on time.
Perform other duties as assigned.
