Job summary

South Bay Solutions is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to write CALYPSO programs for high-precision parts. You will collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery and first-pass yield.

Must have extensive CALYPSO experience and GD&T knowledge, with strong communication skills and the ability to read complex drawings and models. Swing shift; on-site position with strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years as a CMM Programmer using CALYPSO and 3–5 years as a Quality Inspector.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings per ASME Y14.5M-2009.
• Proficient in GD&T and alignment setups on CMMs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and implement CMM programs using CALYPSO from 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Set up and prove out programs with minimal supervision.
• Perform surface plate layout and inspection using standard measurement equipment.
• Train and support operators and junior programmers in best practices.
• Provide inspection reports and ensure parts meet customer requirements.
