Job summary

Sanmina Newark, California is seeking an experienced CMM programmer to join our precision manufacturing team. You will develop, edit, and implement CMM programs using CALYPSO from 3D models and 2D drawings, support engineers and quality leadership, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances for aerospace, defense, and industrial components.

Your background includes Associate Degree and at least four years of CMM programming experience in manufacturing, with proficiency in PC-DMIS and Windows

Qualifications

• Associate degree required with four years of CMM programming experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machine codes.
• Experience with CALYPSO and PC‑DMIS preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication; team collaboration essential.

Responsibilities

• Support CNC programming group, engineers, and quality to minimize production stops.
• Provide CMM programming in CALYPSO from 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Set up and prove out programs with guidance from senior programmers.
• Read engineering drawings and verify part tolerances.
• Maintain logs and perform minor maintenance activities.
• Work under direct supervision while developing skills.
