Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to support quality operations in a fast-paced, high-mix aerospace environment. You will develop and maintain CMM inspection programs using Zeiss Calypso and perform dimensional inspections of tight-tolerance components.

The role requires strong GD&T interpretation, experience in a job shop, and the ability to train shop floor personnel on inspection processes while collaborating with engineering and production to resolve measurement issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience programming CMMs using Zeiss Calypso.
• Strong background in dimensional inspection of precision-machined parts, preferably aerospace.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Experience in a high-mix, job shop environment is highly preferred.
• Effective communication skills to train and support team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CMM inspection programs using Zeiss Calypso software.
• Perform dimensional inspections on complex aerospace components to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Create and implement inspection plans and documentation for production and first article inspections.
• Provide training and guidance to shop floor personnel on inspection processes and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve measurement or quality issues.
• Ensure adherence to quality procedures and industry standards within a job shop environment.
