Jobot is seeking a CMM Programmer/Operator in Kalispell, MT to develop and run CMM programs, measure parts, and support quality objectives on-site. The role includes GD&T interpretation, training, and documentation to ensure conformance with specifications.

Our machines and equipment include: 5-axis high-speed vertical machining center with intuitive probing, high-speed turning centers with milling capability and live tool positions and tool probing, servo-driven intuitive coordinate measuring machine, de-burring tumbler. Tig and Mig welders, acetylene cut, and NIST traceable gauges and measuring instruments.
Work Schedule:
SUMMARY: Develops CMM programs to measure products accurately and efficiently. Analyzes CMM measurement results to determine product acceptance or rework/repair options or support process development.
Provides training and direction to CMM operators performing QC Work Order Operations.

Associates degree or two-plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of GD&T principles including the ability to interpret GD&T symbols on design documents and determine related measurement strategy on the CMM.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, vendors, other company interested parties and other company employees. Ability to read regulatory standards, industry specifications and product design documents (drawings, part lists specifications, etc).
Ability to use current computer programs for word processing, report writing, data analysis, math, and file control.
