Job summary

FirstOption Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join our quality-focused manufacturing environment in San Antonio. You will program inspection equipment, verify dimensional accuracy, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to uphold high-quality standards.

Responsibilities include first article, in-process, and final inspections, reading blueprints and GD&T, and using CMMs, FARO arms, and other precision tools to produce reliable inspection programs

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CMM programming and inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with PC-DMIS and Calypso software.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience using CMMs and precision measurement equipment.
• Detail-oriented with analytical mindset and dedication to accuracy.

• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to develop accurate inspection programs
• Use precision measurement equipment, including CMMs, FARO Arms, Keyence systems, calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Analyze inspection results, prepare reports, and help identify and resolve dimensional or quality issues
• Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to maintain accurate inspections and improve quality processes

• Monday – Friday, 3-5 days a week
