Job summary

Structure Medical, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented CMM Programmer/Inspector to join our quality team in Mooresville, NC. The role focuses on developing and maintaining CMM programs for first article, in-process, and final inspections, and ensuring GD&T compliance across drawings and blueprints.

Qualifications

  • Requires at least three (3) years of CMM programming experience.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CMM programs for first article, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs).
  • Support Engineering and Quality by developing inspection methods and inspection documentation.
  • Maintain CMM equipment, probe qualifications, and program libraries.
  • Troubleshoot quality issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Train CMM operators and assist in developing work instructions.
  • Accurately complete inspection records and documentation.

What You Will Do

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the following is highly preferred:

  • ISO 13485
  • FDA 21 CFR Part 820
  • SolidWorks
  • ERP systems
  • First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation
Physical Requirements

This position requires medium physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, standing and walking throughout the workday, and wearing required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and non-slip shoes.

Please note: Applicants must have at least three (3) years of CMM programming experience and a strong understanding of GD&T to be considered for this position. These are minimum qualifications for the role.
