Job summary

Actalent in Plymouth, IN is seeking a seasoned CMM Programmer to develop and interpret blueprints, and to program CMM measurements in PC-DMIS, leading metrology efforts for medical devices.

You will collaborate with engineering to improve cycle time and accuracy while ensuring compliance with ISO13485 and 21 CFR Part 820. Remote opportunities are not indicated; onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a CMM programmer.
• Completion of Level 2 and/or Level 3 CMM programming course.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and machining processes.
• Experience in the medical device industry, with CNC programming and blueprint reading.
• Proficiency in PC-DMIS software.

Job Title: CMM Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CMM Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and interpreting blueprints for CMM measurements and programming, utilizing PC-DMIS software. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead CMM programming efforts and contribute to the development of leading medical device products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and interpret blueprints to determine the best methods for programming CMM measurements.

• Create CMM programs for product characteristics and gauges.

• Use PC-DMIS software to write and maintain CMM programs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
