Job summary

Advance CNC Machining in Grove City, Ohio is seeking an expert-level CMM Programmer to help our growing $20 million company keep up with strong demand. You will develop and optimize CMM programs using ZEISS Calypso, proof programs, and analyze data to ensure parts meet exact specifications.

Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to drive first-pass acceptance, contribute to process improvements, and uphold our culture of accountability and teamwork across a fast-paced shop floor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Calypso programming experience (required).
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Thorough understanding of dimensional metrology principles and applications.
• Competitive programming times.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; CMM inspection experience with curve forms and GD&T.
• Familiarity with machining, especially 4- and 5-axis milling (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize high-quality CMM programs using ZEISS Calypso.
• Proof CMM programs and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspection planning, including ballooning drawings.
• Interpret and analyze CMM reports, measurement results, and part specifications.
• Support troubleshooting and validation activities to achieve FA qualifications quickly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to make and measure parts correctly the first time.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency.

Salary: $90,000 DOE

What You’ll Do

As our skilled CMM Programmer, you’ll provide accurate programming and execution-while modeling the accountability, resourcefulness, and humility that define our culture.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop andoptimizehigh‑quality CMM programs usingZEISS Calypso software(for aZEISSContura CMM 10/12/6 RDS with Vast XXT and aZEISSContura CMM 7/10/6 with Vast XT Gold)
• Proof CMM programs and make necessary adjustments
• Inspection planning, including ballooning drawings
