Job summary

Kelly Services in Pomona, CA is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer / Operator to support a high-precision toolroom environment. You will develop and run CMM inspection programs, inspect complex components, and ensure parts meet engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and tight tolerances to 0.0001 inch.

Qualifications

5+ years of CMM programming experience.
Strong experience with Zeiss CMM machines.
Proficiency with PC-DMIS and Calypso.
Advanced understanding of GD&T.
Experience inspecting tight-tolerance machined components.
Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills.
Knowledge of precision measurement tools and inspection methods.
Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Program and operate Zeiss CMM equipment using PC-DMIS and Calypso.
Inspect machined parts, tooling, fixtures, gauges, and sheet metal components.
Interpret blueprints, GD&T, dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications.
Verify true position, profile, flatness, perpendicularity, hole locations, diameters, and other critical features.
Create, validate, troubleshoot, and improve CMM programs.
Maintain probe calibration and qualification routines.
Perform surface-plate and bench inspections as needed.
Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve inspection and dimensional issues.
Identify nonconforming material and support continuous quality improvement.
