Job summary

Linked, LLC seeks an experienced CMM Programmer to join the CNC/Manufacturing team. The role focuses on programming and operating CMM equipment, performing dimensional inspections, and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T requirements to support quality and production operations.

The ideal candidate will have CNC machining experience and be comfortable with precision measurement equipment, CMM programming, and dimensional inspection.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CMM Programmer in a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment.
• Experience programming and operating CMM equipment.
• Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and maintain CMM inspection programs.
• Program and operate CMM equipment to inspect precision-machined components.
• Perform dimensional inspections and verify parts meet engineering and customer specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Analyze CMM inspection results and identify dimensional issues.
• Work closely with CNC machinists, engineering, and quality personnel to resolve dimensional concerns.
• Use precision measurement equipment as required to verify part dimensions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Support quality investigations and corrective actions related to dimensional issues.
• Assist with calibration and verification of measurement equipment.
• Review CAD models and engineering data to develop inspection strategies.
• Maintain CMM equipment, programs, and the inspection area.
• Support continuous improvement efforts within the CNC and quality departments.

• Previous experience as a CMM Programmer in a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment.
• Experience programming and operating CMM equipment.
• Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
• Ability to perform detailed dimensional inspections and layouts.
• Experience with CMM programming software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar platforms.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings, CAD data, and customer specifications.
• Experience with precision measurement tools.
• Ability to analyze inspection data and troubleshoot dimensional issues.
• Manufacturing or CNC machining experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with CNC, engineering, and quality teams.
• High attention to measurement accuracy and documentation.
