Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Metrology Quality Supervisor to translate customer specs into robust CMM programs and lead first-piece approvals. You’ll partner with Engineering and Set-up to validate conformance on new launches and supervise lab quality activities across shifts.

You’ll perform CMM and technical layout inspections, manage the Q Number Log, train and lead a QA team, and drive LPAs, gage R&R, and calibration programs while upholding safety and housekeeping policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School education; technical training a plus.
• 1–2 years in machining/automotive environments preferred.
• Proficiency in GD&T, SPC, and blueprint interpretation required.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize CMM programs for new launches.
• Partner with Engineering and Set-up to validate conformance on launches.
• Maintain quality documentation and lab organization; ensure audit readiness.
• Lead LPAs, assist with final audits, and oversee gage calibration.
• Coordinate shift activities and communicate QA status across teams.
