Job summary

Triumph Group is hiring a Quality Inspector for the Day Shift to perform final, first article, and in-process inspections on aerospace jet engine components. You will read aerospace blueprints, verify tolerances, and document inspections to ensure Triumph Group and customer specifications are met.

The role requires accurate use of measuring tools (micrometers, bore gauges, gages) and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School or Technical School Diploma; A.A. in Mechanical/Manufacturing is a plus.
• At least 3 years in quality inspection in a manufacturing setting.
• Working knowledge of geometric tolerancing and measuring tools.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and First Article Inspection requirements preferred.
• Ability to interpret aerospace blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished and in-process aerospace components using inspection equipment.
• Maintain quality documentation (certifications, IMS, AS9102 reports).
• Read and interpret aerospace blueprints and GD&T.
• Use micrometers, bore gauges, gages, and indicators accurately.
• Troubleshoot equipment and recommend parts or replacements.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Train others in inspection methods as required.
• Ensure compliance with Triumph policies and relevant regulations.
