This position is responsible for the installation, integration, calibration, certification, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and gauging systems used in highly regulated and precision-focused industries, including aerospace, automotive, defense, medical devices, and advanced manufacturing. As a key member of the service organization, the technician will work directly with customers to maximize equipment performance, reliability, and productivity while delivering exceptional technical support and customer service. The role includes both on-site and remote support, as well as occasional participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events.

This position offers extensive training on industry-leading metrology technologies and requires a highly independent, customer-focused professional capable of diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, software, and system-performance issues. The successful candidate will perform equipment installations, calibrations, maintenance activities, and technical troubleshooting while adhering to quality standards and service procedures. Strong communication skills, professionalism, technical aptitude, and the ability to effectively manage travel schedules and customer priorities are essential, as the role involves significant field-based work with up to 100% regional travel and overnight stays throughout the assigned territory.

Requirements are a key focus for this opportunity.

Candidates should possess an Associate degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial, or Engineering Technology, or equivalent hands‑on field service experience. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, the ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics, proficiency with Microsoft Windows-based computer systems, and a demonstrated ability to work independently are required.
