Job summary

Continental ContiTech in Winchester, Virginia seeks an interior design professional to translate customer vision into production-ready interior surface concepts and to develop color harmony, texture, prints and material appearance.

You will balance aesthetics with feasibility, cost and manufacturing capability, support design development and releases for customer programs, and build trusted relationships with North American customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer vision into production-ready interior surface concepts.
• Develop interior color harmony, material appearance, gloss, texture, grain and prints.
• Balance aesthetics with feasibility, cost, timing, durability and manufacturing capability.
• Identify customer and market design needs.
• Deliver internal and external design presentations.
• Develop feasible grains, colors, prints and combinations and secure approvals.
• Support design development and releases for customer programs.
• Build and expand relationships with American / North American customers and internal teams.
• Monitor competitive design technologies with Sales.
• Provide design and plant support for Winchester.
