Job summary

Continental in Winchester, Virginia, is hiring for an interior surface design role within the Americas Design department. You will translate customer vision into production-ready CMF concepts, develop color harmony and textures, and work across Creative Design, Engineering, Program Management, and suppliers to deliver approved design solutions.

Role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, and typically 3 years of design/production experience; Adobe Suite proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Related Field is required.
3 years of experience in design/production or related field is preferred.
Adobe Suite experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Translate customer vision and design intent into production-ready interior surface concepts.
Develop interior color harmony, material appearance, gloss, texture, grain, print and pattern.
Balance aesthetics with feasibility, cost, timing, durability, manufacturing capability and customer requirements.
Identify customer and market design needs and present results to stakeholders.
Develop grains, colors, prints and combinations and secure customer approvals.
