I.T. Senior Associates perform highly complex professional work in technology-related disciplines. Depending on the needs of the Information Technology area to which they report, they may work in development/programming, communications, technical support, or similar functions. Work tasks include diagnosing, evaluating, overseeing, and resolving highly complex projects. They exercise wide latitude for independent initiative and judgment, may serve in lead roles on complex programs or projects, and may direct supervise a unit or group.

The Office of Computing and Information Services (CIS) at CUNY supports the IT and telecommunications needs of CUNY’s 26 colleges. CIS manages enterprise IT and applications, develops new technologies, operates the network, data center, Service Desk, and Security Operations Center, develops disaster recovery plans, and supports the CUNYfirst ERP solution that integrates student administration, financial management, and human resources across campuses. CIS also provides strategic and operational IT leadership to all CUNY campuses.
For this role, the CIT seeks a CMDB Administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within ServiceNow, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and alignment with ITSM/ITBM processes, solutions, and business objectives. The Administrator will report to the Director of Application Lifecycle Management, oversee instance configuration, system integrations, and performance optimization, configure and enhance ITSM applications and modules, and support end‑user accessibility and automation, including integration of virtual agent technology via Microsoft Teams and the ServiceNow Portal.
Until further notice, this position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
