Job summary

Xeris Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Chicago, IL is looking for an Associate Director of CMC Project Management to drive operational execution for XP-8121.

Hybrid work, three days in the office, with strong focus on managing external manufacturing partners and project plans across drug substance, drug product, device, and analytics streams. The role requires 7+ years in CMC project management or PM/CMC with Phase 3 experience, plus proficiency in Adobe and MS Office and PM tools like Asana,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related life sciences.
Minimum of 7+ years in CMC project management or combined PM/CMC on Phase 3 programs.
Background in a CMC discipline and experience with all CMC disciplines preferred.
Strong skills with Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficient in using project management tools: Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet or MS Project.
Understanding of drug development interdependencies across functions.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and manage detailed, integrated project plans for all CMC activities.
Proactively track progress, manage critical path, and report status to stakeholders.
Organize cross-functional meetings and coordinate PDTO budget and resources.
Coach and mentor others on project management practices and drive process improvements.
