Job summary

CRISPR Therapeutics, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking an Associate Manager, CMC Operations to drive cross-program planning, risk tracking, and execution across multiple drug product programs.

This hands-on role requires deep CMC/manufacturing context and the ability to flag risks early while coordinating with internal and external partners. The successful candidate will have a science or engineering degree with 5–7+ years of experience, plus proficiency with PM tools like Smartsheet or MS Project,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in scientific/engineering field; 5–7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting biologics, cell/gene therapy, or LNP-based drug product programs.
• Familiarity with project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cross-program timelines across tech transfer, process development, manufacturing campaigns, and regulatory-supporting deliverables.
• Own program-level risk and action logs; proactively identify dependencies, conflicts, and timeline risks.
• Coordinate deliverables and follow-through across CMC, Regulatory, QA, and external CDMO partners.
• Track CDMO batch scheduling, tech transfer milestones, and manufacturing deliverables; flag scheduling conflicts or resourcing gaps early.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and meeting materials for program and governance reviews.
