Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Structured Finance Associate for its finance group in San Diego, CA. This role focuses on transactions involving commercial-mortgage backed securities and offers a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a law firm, a JD degree, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a law firm.
• Experience in commercial real estate finance, CMBS, or structured finance preferred.
• AmLaw 100 law firm experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including briefs and contracts.
• Assist in managing complex cases from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative strategies.
• Participate in high-level legal activities such as trials and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
• Engage in professional development opportunities.
