Rialto Capital is seeking an Associate to join our CRE finance team in Miami, focusing on underwriting, credit monitoring, and portfolio analytics across diverse property types nationwide.

The role emphasizes meticulous financial analysis, risk assessment, and clear reporting to senior management, with exposure to market trends and collaboration with master servicers and REO teams. Bachelor’s degree required; 1–2 years CRE/CMBS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in commercial real estate, CMBS or structured finance.
• Strong work ethic in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present ideas clearly.
• Strong analytical, research and reporting skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exposure to Trepp, Power BI, Real Capital Analytics, Co-Star and Bloomberg Terminal is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting & Credit Monitoring: perform thorough underwriting and cash flow analysis at loan and property level for CRE acquisitions and CMBS portfolio.
• Monitor and evaluate credit metrics, loan/property performance, maturities and dispositions; track changes in performance and risk.
• Coordinate with Master Servicers to ensure adherence to loan documents and covenants.
• Prepare and present Portfolio Reviews to senior management.
• Market Conditions & Exposure Events: monitor news, create exposure reports and summarize risk to portfolio.
• Research market/economic trends and assess impact to collateral.
• Coordinate with Master Servicers and REO team on major disaster events and site visits.
• Reporting: prepare monthly/quarterly reports for multiple departments including executive team; assist in automating reports and improving processes.
• Ad hoc reporting projects for senior management including portfolio statistics and market studies.
