Job summary

Rialto Capital in Florida is seeking an Associate to perform underwriting and credit monitoring across a CMBS portfolio, conducting cash flow analyses on loans and properties.

You will support market intelligence, prepare portfolio reviews for senior management, and help automate reporting processes. A bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years in commercial real estate are preferred; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience, preferably in commercial real estate, CMBS or structured finance.
• Strong work ethic and ability to excel in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present ideas clearly.
• Strong analytical, research and reporting skills.
• High attention to detail; well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting and cash flow analysis at loan and property levels for acquisitions and CMBS portfolio.
• Monitor credit metrics, loan performance, maturities and dispositions; assess risk.
• Coordinate with Master Servicers to ensure adherence with loan documents and covenants.
• Prepare and present Portfolio Reviews to senior management.
• Monitor market conditions and create exposure reports using data analytics.
• Research market trends and assess impact to collateral.
• Coordinate with Master Servicers and REO team on disaster events and site visits.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for multiple departments, including the executive team.
• Assist in automating standardized reports and improving department processes.
• Ad hoc reporting projects for senior management including portfolio statistics and market studies.
