Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York is seeking an Analyst to join the CMBS Capital Markets team. You will help securitize CRE loans and participate in the distribution of CMBS, CRE CLOs, and related transactions.

The role provides exposure to the US commercial real estate sector, interaction with lenders, rating agencies, and investors, and requires strong quantitative and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in structured finance, processing MBS/CMBS transactions
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a finance-related field such as Economics, Finance, Engineering or Mathematics
• Firm understanding of finance, operations, and mathematical modeling
• Ability to analyze large data and incorporate findings into valuation models
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with origination teams, CMBS trading desk, external counsel, rating agencies, and investors to manage securitization
• Review loan documentation and due diligence to prepare data tapes and term sheets
• Analyze underlying mortgages and properties in CMBS and CLO securitizations
• Market primary issuance securitizations to potential investors
• Collaborate with clients to execute securitizations on principal or agented basis
