Job summary

Accounting Search seeks a Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities Associate Attorney for its Global Finance group. The role focuses on CMBS, CRE CLOs, and complex securitization work for issuers, underwriters, servicers, and investors across a leading AmLaw 50 environment.

Candidates will have a JD from a top-tier law school, active Bar admission, 3–6 years of CMBS experience, and a proven record drafting securitization documents. Large-firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel on CMBS transactions, including CRE CLOs, for issuers, underwriters, and investors.
• Lead the preparation and negotiation of transaction documents (bid letters, confidentiality agreements, disclosures, operative agreements).
• Lead deal structuring, due diligence, execution, and post-closing matters.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
