Job summary

Amentum seeks a CMAC Systems Administrator to support NORAD ITW/AA and NISSC II at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, Colorado. The role requires Top Secret with SCI eligibility and extensive Linux/Windows system administration with virtualization and network expertise.

The position involves on-site work, travel up to 10%, and duties ranging from OS patching and backups to system upgrades and training of staff. Compensation ranges $85,000–$100,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility required
• 5+ years general work experience
• 2+ years directly related experience
• Current DoD IAT Level II or higher (Sec+)
• Experience with RHEL, Windows, VMware, and LAN/WAN technologies
• Familiarity with SPADOC or space situational analysis is a plus

Responsibilities

• Install operating system software, patches, and upgrades.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Configure, optimize, fine-tune, and monitor operating system software and hardware.
• Perform system backups, recovery, and server builds.
• Provide systems administrator support to systems hosting complex operational databases, software configuration control, and system interfaces for computer systems.
• Manage file servers and network access to include analyzing, troubleshooting, and documenting system anomalies.
• Perform and provides server, workstation, and system expertise including on-site and off-site travel.
• Coordinate and schedules system upgrades and maintenance.
• Provide guidance, direction, and training to others in the group. Serves as backup to other computer systems administrators.
• Order replacement of new hardware and software including warranty claims.
