Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS seeks a Facility Security Officer to support NORAD at Cheyenne Mountain Complex with 7-10 years of experience. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, extensive collateral, SCI, and SAP security expertise, and on-site work five days a week.

Responsibilities include managing security programs, SOPs, ConOps, and liaison with sponsor security while ensuring compliance with DoD and IC directives. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education or equivalent DoD/military training.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Experience developing and implementing SOPs and ConOps.
• Experience in Special Programs, SCI/SAP security, or Collateral Security.
• Experience with government inspections and security programs.
• Familiarity with JADE, DISS, SIMS, or Scattered Castles is preferred.
• Knowledge of DoD and IC directives and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison with sponsor security for collateral, SCI, SAP regulations.
• Operate independently with sound judgment and strong organizational skills.
• Oversee security programs, facilities, and cognizant programs.
• Maintain security directives, manuals, and documentation for all facilities.
• Manage personnel, information, and physical security processes per sponsor.
• Ensure proper handling of collateral/SCI/SAP, including encryption and destruction.
• Certify and process visitor clearances for collateral, SCI, SAP.
• Develop OPS concepts, SOPs, and local security directives.
• Maintain records for all personnel and execute PSP actions.
• Lead security education and awareness to protect classified info.
• Maintain accreditation docs and conduct self-inspections; remediate findings.
• Review and update DD Form 254s for programs in special security areas.
