Job summary

Southcentral Foundation (SCF) seeks a Supervisor of Certified Medical Assistants to lead CMAs across multiple Anchorage clinics, including Brother Francis Shelter and Centennial/ Covenant House/ Elders Clinics.

The role focuses on clinical leadership, QA, and training, with two levels of progression. Responsibilities include coordinating care, ensuring compliance, and guiding outreach activities throughout Anchorage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two years of CMA/LPN experience is required.
• Certification as Medical Assistant or licensure as Practical Nurse in Alaska.
• BLS certification is required; advanced certifications as needed for specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, oversight, and support for CMAs across SCF Community Clinics.
• Coordinate QA and clinical compliance, safety requirements, and training across sites.
• Support day-to-day clinic operations and staff development, including competencies.
• Plan and oversee community outreach events and vaccination clinics in Anchorage.
