Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Medical Assistant III to work under a licensed practitioner and assist in delivering patient-focused care. The role expands MA I/II duties with leadership, mentoring, and guidance for other medical assistants within the clinic.

The MA III serves as an ambassador and quality champion, supporting training and continuous improvement while ensuring a high standard of care and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Two years Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• Two years experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment, handling confidential data with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
• Mentor and resource to Medical Assistants; lead and train as needed.
• Ambassador, change agent and quality champion within the clinic/location.
