Magnolia Gardens Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Thomasville, NC is hiring a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our compassionate nursing team. You will administer medications safely, verify patient identity, and document accurately under supervision of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications

• Current NC CMA certification is required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately per physician orders and facility policies.
• Verify resident identity before administration and monitor responses.
• Document MARs accurately and report changes or refusals.
• Review MARs for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with inventory, storage, and ordering of medications.
• Communicate with nurses, physicians, pharmacy staff, residents, and families.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention and HIPAA compliance.
• Promote a clean, safe, respectful environment for all.
