Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for our Tinley Park clinic. You will support Primary Care and Pediatrics, working as a collaborative member of a busy ambulatory care team.

The role includes rooming patients, assisting with visits, and coordinating care across ENT, GYNE, and general medicine. Expect 5 eight-hour shifts per week, with responsibilities spanning rooming, documentation, and patient communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus training through an accredited medical assistant program.
• Must possess at least one MA credential within six months of hire (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA).
• CPR/BLS certification required by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum experience: at least one year in a related role if available.

Responsibilities

• Direct care throughout the patient visit from arrival to checkout.
• Coordinate registration, scheduling and follow-up orders with the physician and care team.
• Assist with history taking, routine tasks and procedures; communicate with patients and physicians.
• Administer medications as directed and collaborate with other health care professionals at the site.
