Job summary

Access Medical Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to prepare charts, pull notes, and support nurses and staff. You will help track tests, manage lab reporting, and keep patients informed about their care.

You will also handle inventory, set up equipment, clean instruments and rooms, and assist with registrations and basic medical office duties while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Proficiency with EMR software and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Be licensed/registered in the applicable state; maintain active license.
• BLS certification at hire and kept current during employment.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Communicate and function well on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional relationships with all associates and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts/notes and setting up medical equipment.
• Monitor and record vital signs and medical history.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures.
• Assist with minor clinical procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccinations.
• Gauge patients’ health status and provide health education.
