Job summary

Solomons Nursing and Rehab is seeking Certified Medicine Aides (CMAs) for full-time 2p-10p shifts in Solomons, MD. The role involves pouring and administering scheduled medications, documenting in EMAR, and ensuring the safety and comfort of residents within a regulated facility environment.

QUALIFICATIONS include a high school diploma or GED and Maryland CMA/CNA/GNA licenses. Covid vaccination is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must hold a current CMA, CNA, and GNA license in Maryland.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques for administering simple treatments and bedside care.
• Covid vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Pour and administer routine medications as directed by the resident’s physician, excluding injections and narcotics.
• Maintain complete medication administration records in EMAR.
• Assist in ensuring resident safety, comfort and well-being.
• Follow facility policies and state/federal regulations.
