Job summary

Camellia Place, a Claiborne Senior Living community, is seeking a Medication Technician / Certified Medication Aide to safely administer medications and support resident care. If you are detail oriented, dependable, and take ownership of resident safety, we’d love to meet you.

In this role, you will administer medications, follow the Six Rights, monitor outcomes, and communicate changes to nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• CMA or Medication Technician certification is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policy.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and proper documentation standards.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Report changes in condition or concerns to nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts.
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Reliable, focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
