Job summary

The Claiborne Senior Living team is hiring Medication Technicians / Certified Medication Aides (Med Techs / CMAs) to safely administer medications and support resident care in our senior living community. If you are detail-oriented, dependable, and take ownership of resident safety, we’d love to meet you.

Administer medications in line with physician orders, follow the Six Rights, monitor residents, document accurately, and assist with daily living activities while upholding infection control

Qualifications

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policy.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and proper documentation standards.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Report changes in condition or concerns to nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts.
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
