Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking Medication Technicians / Certified Medication Aides (Med Techs / CMAs) to safely administer medications and support resident care in our Georgia senior living community.

In this role you will follow physician orders, the Six Rights, and documentation standards, monitor residents for effects and side effects, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure safe, compassionate care while maintaining accurate medication records.

Qualifications

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policy.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and proper documentation standards.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Report changes in condition or concerns to nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts.
