Job summary

Aspirus Waupaca Clinic in Waupaca, WI is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our WAUPACA CLINIC team. Part Time 0.6 FTE, 48 Hours Biweekly with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for CMAs.

The CMA/MA/LPN will perform a wide variety of clinical and non-clinical tasks under supervision, supporting the outpatient continuum of care. Benefits available for part- and full-time staff, with on-site training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA/MA or LPN qualification.
• CMA certification or registration must be obtained within six (6) months of hire (preferred).
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• CNAs may apply and receive on-site training to transition to MA role.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care duties under supervision of a licensed medical professional.
• Carry out delegated interventions as trained and competent to perform.
• Support clinic operations in the outpatient continuum of care.

Aspirus Waupaca Clinic in Waupaca, WI is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our WAUPACA CLINIC team!

Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) may be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is a member of the care team in the clinic setting who performs a wide variety of supportive tasks through the outpatient continuum of care including both clinical and non-clinical duties. The CMA will perform patient care duties under the supervision of a licensed medical professional. CMA's may perform delegated interventions they are trained and competent to perform within the confines of state regulations. The CMA represents a Medical Assistant who has been certified or registered.

HOURS: Part Time 0.6 FTE, 48 Hours Biweekly

Experience/Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of patient care standards, clinical practices, and safety protocols
• Minimum of one (1) year of healthcare experience preferred
• Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire; preferred but not required
• CNAs are eligible to apply and will receive on-site training to transition into the MA role
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED
