Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our ACC CARDIOLOGY RHC team. The CMA/MA role supports providers in delivering specialized heart care, including rooming patients and recording vital signs.

Hours are full-time, 7am–5pm, Monday–Friday, 80 hours per pay period. CMAs may be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus; on-site training is available for CNAs transitioning to MA

Qualificações

• Experience with patient care standards, clinical practices and safety protocols.
• Minimum of one year healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CMA/MA certification or registration; CNA may apply with on-site MA transition.

Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our ACC CARDIOLOGY RHC team!

**Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) may be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus**

Position Summary

The CMA or MA unit supports providers in delivering specialized heart care.

• rooming patients,
• obtaining vital signs,
• performing EKGs,
• assisting with cardiac stress testing,
• preparing patients for exams and procedures,
• documenting in electronic medical records.

HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period. 7am-5pm. Monday-Friday

Experience/Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of patient care standards, clinical practices, and safety protocols
• Minimum of one (1) year of healthcare experience preferred
• Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire; preferred but not required
• CNAs are eligible to apply and will receive on-site training to transition into the MA role
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED
